To νέο μοντέλο της Nokia με την κωδική ονομασία Ν86 είναι έτοιμο να πλασάρει στην αγορά η γνωστή εταιρία κατασκευής κινητών τηλεφώνων. Το νέο τηλέφωνο διαθέτει camera 8 megapixel, οθόνη 16.000.000 χρωμάτων που δεν χαράζεται, λειτουργικό σύστημα symbian 3ης γενιάς και βελτιωμένο gps με 3d απεικόνιση τοπίων. Υποστηρίζει παιχνίδια σειράς ngage και διαθέτει εσωτερική μνήμη 8gb.

Εδώ με το ζόρι σκανάρουμε απλό barcode με το ΝΟΚΙΑ Ν95 και αν καταφέρει να μας το μεταφράσει και στην Ιαπωνία η τεχνολογικά προηγμένη εταιρία παροχής τηλεπικοινωνιών NTT DoCoMo σου μεταφράζει barcode νεάς γενιάς 2d με μία απλή φωτογραφία.

Η Ovi team η ομάδα που έφτιαξε το concept της NOKIA για τις πολλαπλές υπηρεσίες Internet έστειλε email στους χρήστες της και ζήτησε να μπουν σε ένα πρόγραμμα έρευνας αγοράς σχετικά με το OVI πως το βλέπουν και τι αλλαγές και βελτιώσεις θα ήθελαν να κάνουν στο μέλλον. Αυτοί που θα συμμετάσχουν στην έρευνα θα κερδίσουν 100$..για τον κόπο τους…:)

To νομικό τμήμα της Samsung έχει πιάσει για τα καλά δουλειά στο Πεκίνο. Υπάρχει μία εταιρία που παράγει τηλέφωνα κλώνους (κινέζικα) που εξωτερικά μοιάζουν πολύ με αυτά της Samsung και χρησιμοποιεί το όνομα Samsong. Μέχρι στιγμής έχουν εντοπιστεί περίπου 10 παρεμφερή μοντέλα ενώ υπάρχουν τουλάχιστον άλλα 70 που μοιάζουν και χρησιμοποιούν την εμφάνιση και παρόμοια λογότυπα με την Samsung. Καταφέραν να κλωνοποιήσουν και να βγάλουν στην αγορά μέχρι και το Samsung Omnia (χωρίς φυσικά τις δυνατότητές του. Το Samsong Κλώνος Omnia έχει απλή VGA camera (αντί για 5 megapixel) διαθέτει bluetooth ραδιοφώνο και υποδοχή για κάρτα microsd ενώ δεν διαθέτει wifi, gps, windows πλατφόρμα, κι εσωτερική μνήμη 16gb.

Τον τελευταίο χρόνο έχει γεμίσει η ελληνική αγορά από τηλέφωνα κινεζικής προέλευσης. Τα τηλέφωνα αυτά χωρίζονται σε δύο βασικές κατηγορίες. Η πρώτη κατηγορία είναι οι ρεπλίκες branded τηλεφώνων, τηλέφωνα τα οποία εξωτερικά μοιάζουν με τηλέφωνα γνωστών εταιριών παραγωγής κινητών τηλεφώνων (NOKIA, SonyEricsson κτλ) χωρίς φυσικά να έχουν τις δυνατότητές τους. Η ποιότητα κατασκευής τους είναι σαφώς κατώτερη από αυτή των αυθεντικών τηλεφώνων. Τις περισσότερες φορές δεν διαθέτουν gps, camera με πολλά megapixel, wifi, οθόνη υψηλής ανάλυσης κι αναπαραγωγής πολλών χρωμάτων κτλ. H δεύτερη κατηγορία κινητών τηλεφώνων κινέζικης προέλευσης είναι τα owned-vanilla. Τα τηλέφωνα αυτά δεν βασίζονται εξωτερικά σε κάποιο συγκεκριμένο επώνυμο μοντέλο (δεν είναι αντιγραφή) αλλά έχουν δικό τους σχεδιασμό. Το λογισμικό που χρησιμοποιούν είναι μία universal πλατφόρμα που χρησιμοποιούν σχεδόν όλα τα κινέζικα τηλέφωνα (ρεπλίκες και vanilla). Πάνω σε αυτές έχουν γίνει διάφορες παραλλαγές έτσι ώστε να προσαρμόζονται ανάλογα στο μοντέλο και τον τύπο του τηλεφώνου.

Δύο πλεονεκτήματα που έχουν τα περισσότερα κινέζικα τηλέφωνα συγκριτικά με τα επώνυμα μοντέλα που κυκλοφορουν στην αγορά είναι oι δύο υποδοχές που έχουν για κάρτες sim και το tv tuner. Τα τηλέφωνα αυτά μπορούν να έχουν δύο κάρτες sim ενεργές και να λαμβάνουν κλήσεις και μηνύματα και από τις κάρτες sim ενώ εάν θέλουμε να κάνουμε κάποια κλήση μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε μία από τις δύο. Όσον αφορά το tv tuner που διαθέτουν είναι αναλογικό και παρέχουν την δυνατότητα να δούμε τηλεοπτικά κανάλια μέσα από το κινητό μας χώρις την βοήθεια του gprs (που χρεώνεται) αλλά απλά με μία μικρή κεραία που διαθέτουν -σαν μία φορητή τηλεόραση.

Όσον αφορά το λογισμικό και την εγκατάσταση ελληνικής γλώσσας αυτή την στιγμή υπάρχουν στην αγορά 4 μηχανήματα (εκ των οποίων 3 είναι διαθέσιμα στo κεντρικό εργαστήριο του 9Volto) που επεμβαίνουν στο λογισμικό των κινέζικων τηλεφώνων και θεωρούνται από τα πιο δύσχρηστα μηχανήματα επεμβάσεως λογισμικού που κυκλοφορούν σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο.

Τελειώνοντας τα τηλέφωνα αυτά συνήθως δεν έχουν πιστοποιητικά CE (το αυτοκόλλητο που έχουν δεν σημαίνει απαραίτητα ότι έχουν όλα τα νόμιμα πιστοποιητικά για την χρησιμοποίηση του CE) και η ακτινοβολία SAR που εκπέμπουν σύμφωνα με μετρήσεις που έχουμε κάνει στο κεντρικό εργαστήριο του 9Volto είναι εκτός ορίων της ευρωπαϊκής ένωσης.

Το 9Volto σε συνεργασία με την Vodafone δίνει το VMC (vodafone mobile connect card) με μηνιαίο download traffic 5gb δωρεάν μαζί με ένα κινητό τηλέφωνο NOKIA 1680 αξίας 55 ευρώ. Η συγκεκριμένη προσφορά ισχύει μόνο στα καταστήματα 9Volto και το UMTS stick το οποίο δίνουμε είναι NOKIA με ταχύτητες 7.2mbps. To μηνιαίο πάγιο είναι 29,5 ευρώ ενώ για τους φοιτητές η μηνιαία χρέωση πέφτει στα 24.99 ευρώ το μήνα.

500 λεπτά σε σταθερά τηλέφωνα όλης της Ελλάδος με μόνο 6 ευρώ το μήνα για 1 χρόνο. Η συγκεκριμένη προσφορά ισχύει στην Vodafone με την προυπόθεση ότι ο συνδρομητής δεν παραλαμβάνει εξοπλισμό αλλά μόνο την κάρτα sim την οποία μπορεί να βάλει σε οποιοδήποτε κινητό και να το δουλέψει μέσα στο σπίτι του σαν σταθερό.

Πολλές οι βελτιώσεις της νέας έκδοσης του Ν78 v20.139. Μερικές από αυτές έχουν να κάνουν με την σταθερότητα και την βελτίωση το wifi και του audio, σταθερότητα στο Internet και σε άλλες εφαρμογές που υπήρχαν bugs καθώς επίσης και με την ταχύτητα του μενού και των λειτουργίων του.
Παραθέτουμε στα αγγλικά τις βελτιώσεις:

*While scanning for wireless networks in the home screen, instead of saying ?No networks found? as in the past, it says ?No WLANs available?, also some other minor name changes in this menu.
*Share online icon in standby screen seems to be different
*When going back to the music player via the standby screen, it goes straight into the player without a fading in/out transition as it did before when Theme Effects are turned on (an instantaneous response). However, for going into other sections from the standby screen the fade in/out transition still occurs.
*When Music Player is operating, and seeing the track name on the screen, and then when one song ends and goes to the next track, the speed at which this happens is much improved although not flawless (there is still some lag).
*Scrolling up and down through the entries in the standby screen is very fast and not slow like before.

Call log, Contacts and calling function:

*Calling speed (from standby screen to Contacts or Call Log) and transition to call/disconnected screens much faster and improved
*Faster resume of music playback after call is ended
*Volume bar is changed from ten dotted increment to continuous coloured volume triangle (this has also been reflected in other menus and options throughout the phone)

Maps:

*Maps updated to version 2.0

Music Player:

*Much faster interface and speed through all menus
*Pressing volume keys is much improved and faster and more accurate response than before (where it may have taken time in the past for the volume level to update)
*Music controls (i.e. Rewind, Fast forward, play/pause, stop) are no longer the same colour as the matching theme, now it is just the same light green colour across all themes
*Visualisations are still a bit slow, but faster than before

Photos:

*Transition into the Photos application is much faster than before
*Scrolling through photos and videos and the like is still jerky and thumbnails still take a while to be updated from pixelated to clear thumbnails

Settings:

*In Themes, there is a new theme called Music (very yucky looking I must admit)
*Power saver now includes ?Now playing? option, so when the backlight goes off, the currently playing song and time are displayed on the screen for a number of seconds before disappearing. This occurs before keypad lock is activated, and when any key is pressed, the names of the song light up (in green or red). Also when going from one track to the next while this screensaver is activated, the date is displayed briefly.

Other:

*General speed improvements across all menus and applications
*Help function is much faster and speed improved
*New help topics added to Help function
*Speed dial now works without any lag
*New RealPlayer interface and version updated (where the RealPlayer screen is no longer displayed but grey bars on top and bottom of the video)
*About application has been updated for the year dates so that they are all ?2009?.
*Installation of applications and refresh of available applications within the Application Manager is much improved and faster (although icons for installed applications are now not displayed)

*Carousel menu has new options under each heading
*Navi-wheel seems to have been tweaked a bit more
